Libby and Nathan's First Look!

One of the concepts we always mention to our Brides & Grooms is to set aside some time to see each other dressed before the ceremony. The emotion on each of their faces, when they see each other for that first time, is beautiful and memorable. When this takes place during the ceremony it is often because of time constraints, a fleeting and lost moment. Can it be captured in one image? Yes, more than likely. But with the handshake between the bride's father (or mother) and the groom plus the need to move the ceremony forward, it is often lost not only in images, but between two people very much in love. When we can set it up before the ceremony, they have time to meet, see each other, react and share this moment for as long as they want. We step back, take the images and let them have a moment to say what's in their hearts. As a plus, we capture that emotion for them to share with their families and have for the rest of their lives When I see the look on Nathan's face, when he first sees Libby, I truly realize how lucky we are to do what we do.

Emily & Chip's Wedding Day

We had a great time photographing Emily & Chip's wedding last week. The formals were taken on the grounds of the Anheuser Busch Brewery in Merrimack, New Hampshire. It may seem like a strange venue but the area was filled with lush greenery and the colorful buildings that house the famous Clydesdale horses.


The wedding reception was held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester. There were two wonderful little sisters in the wedding party who practically stole the day and a bride who bore such a striking resemblance to a young Kyra Sedgwick, we felt like we were shooting a celebrity wedding. Enjoy!!!

Stacey & Joe's Engagement at the Crane Estates in Ipswich, MA.

This past week we photographed Stacey and Joe's engagement session at the Crane Estates in Ipswich, MA. We were fortunate to have another beautiful day of blue skies and white clouds in this impressive location while enjoying a couple obviously in love. The estate has rolling greens, a castle, a carriage house and stretches down to the ocean. If you get a chance, check out the area! Wendy & Antonio's Engagement Session

We had the pleasure of photographing Wendy & Antonio's engagement session this past weekend at Hampton Beach. It had everything that makes for a romantic setting: a beautiful sunny day with blue skies, a beach, two people very much in love and ice cream!! We had a great time with this wonderful couple and are really looking forward to joining them on their wedding day. The DVD is presented in a leather case, featuring a quality final print of the photographer’s choice and you will receive the DVD in a gift box with a bow.
