I will let Melissa describe herself:
- Melissa
- Quezon City, Philippines
- A citizen of the world...an itinerant...i've lived my life following my heart... and carrying my tent wherever God takes me... a product of the "carpe diem" society... an incurable optimist and people lover...open to life's surprises... i always believe that GOD has something GREAT in store for each one of us...
It is with great pleasure that I combine my images with her words, her thoughts and her passion!
Rainfalls and Summer
Oh, why does it take so long to heal?
Dark clouds...grey skies!
One moment to the next
Are passages from warmth to shade.
Keep them coming,
Oh tears why can't you stop?
How could love dwell in such a place?
Focused on just one area
That continually digs its way to the pit.
Delve deep
Take it away from me...
Oh, cheer up dear heart!
The sun now ascends to great heights
Resplendent the rays
Burning my soul alight
Kiss the rain
One last time
Embrace life!
Melissa it was a pleasure using your words and ideas for an inspiration. I hope you approve of my choices for images!!

hmmm...now I have to enter your mind and penetrate your thoughts for the images you've chosen :P... it works two ways...
I thought you'll be using only clouds and skies but the images of a couple came and it gave the poem a different shape...and you've given the poem a different measure --- You are truly creative Jim.
You've always uplifted my spirit through your kind words, your blog and images. You've posted this at the right time.
I liked how you've given the images a passage themselves through the gradual release of colors of the sky... and the couple journeying together through time...
You are wonderful...Grazie tantissimo!
Melissa it was such a pleasure to take your wonderful thoughts and try to create a flow with my images! Thank You for the opportunity!! You might not want to enter my mind, penetrating my thoughts could be confusing at best lol...Downright scary at times lol

Melissa's poem and your photography......brilliant love affair. My eyes stayed on the 4/5 picture and the words in between them....
I would love to give this collaboration a try but unfortunately I don't write poems...just simple insights to my journey on and off the yoga mat....
The talented duo mesmerizes us all with their wonderful post. Loved it a lot...Melissa and Jim.
Wow another one from the heart and equally befitting pictures to tell the story. Beautiful Jim and Melissa

Great combination of two genius ppl..:)
Excellent interpretations...good selections of images...and there were some rhythmic patterns I can discern and no loophole whatsoever as the photo shift according to lines...and even phrase. The surprising thing to discover is that the two element are totally independent creations merging into one.
I hope you can help me with image on this one too...

Second time I have been here to have a look at this work of art.
I love this collaboration. I love Melissa's poem. The words feeling is lush and dark. As for the pics, there are few things as majestic as a turbulent sky. What haven't you photographed, Jim? <3
