Okay, you didn't think we would ignore the groom, did you, really? Although the bride is the main course, without the groom, it would just be a very expensive night out with friends. At the beginning of each wedding day, we see all types of grooms; the nervous, the somber and the excited. By the end of the night when all of the pomp and circumstance is through, they are all very happy and excited men. Is it the recognition of the start of their lives together, the upcoming wedding night or just the relaxed state of a man at peace with his world? I think a little of each but I do know one thing. Throughout the whole day, when we see the groom look at his new wife, we always see truest form of love in their eyes.
How sweet it is to be loved by you
How sweet it is to be loved by you I needed the shelter of someone's arms and there you were
I needed someone to understand my ups and downs and there you were With sweet love and devotion
Deeply touching my emotion
I want to stop and thank you baby
I just want to stop and thank you baby
How sweet it is to be loved by you
How sweet it is to be loved by you This might not be a groom only image but I love it and it shows his
personality.
But you brighten up for me all of my days
With a love so sweet in so many ways I want to stop and thank you baby
I just want to stop and thank you baby
You were better for me than I was for myself
For me, there's you and there ain't nobody else
I want to stop and thank you baby

wow jim... i stayed longer with the grooms than the brides :P... it makes me curious how they felt during the wedding preparations... and you've captured that... oh geez... wide smiles as the groom awaits the bride ;)... i read the techniques of portraiture from mari's... and i like the blurring of the background to focus on the groom...the focal point :p... hmmm... now, i'm getting excited as we come to the main course... can't wait :P
Finally the condiments! You truly captured their rapture and joy. Just like for the bride, for the groom too a wedding is such a special and beautiful day. You captured it all.
Great pictures of the grooms, loved the one in which the bride is kicking the groom...It's a Kodak Moment for me.Fantastic post, Jim, as usual...
I really love the picture where in the bride kicked the groom's @$$.Haha.
Fantastic Jim! Is it true that you see love in their eyes always? I see anxiety sometimes - but I am really unprofessional : )
Thank you everyone . Your comments are really valued.
Sulekkha I really love that picture, we had no idea they were going to do this. I started laughing as I was shooting lol.
Kriti I feel I do see love all the time. Is there anxiety? Sure but I think that is also a part of young love, one does not preclude the other.
Again thank you all
